This weekend is your last chance to catch Wagnalls Community Theatre’s production of Death by Chocolate.

“Death by Chocolate is a comedy noir mystery with a whole lotta coffee!” said producer Donna Ellliott.

Private eye, Nick Noir, has fallen on tough times when Coco and Bonbon Purvis call on him to solve a case. The sisters are purveyors of the Precious Perks Coffee Shoppe, which is known for its signature drink, Death by Chocolate. Unfortunately, for Vinnie the Leech, the name came true.

“The suspects are a range of crazy characters that were at the scene of the crime and are back again!” Elliott said.

Directed by Wave Wilkerson, the performances take place in the Wagnalls Memorial Theater found at 150 East Columbus Street in Lithopolis.

On Friday and Saturday nights the play will start at 7:30 p.m. and the Sunday matinee begins at 2 p.m.

“At our Sunday matinee performances, Carroll Cup Coffee House is providing complimentary cafe mochas!” Elliott said.

Tickets are available online for $15.00 per adult and $10.00 for students and seniors 60 and older.
