Navy presents Certificate of Appreciation to Pickerington’s Arthur

Naval Support Activity Crane recently temporarily sent one of our Sailors off to The Portsmouth Navy Shipyard in New Hampshire to help that command with additional personnel when they were need of some assistance.

On 30 March, 2023, NSA Crane Executive Officer LCDR David Buitrago presented MA3 Keegan Arthur with an Admiral’s Certificate of Appreciation from the Commander of the Navy’s Mid-Atlantic Region, Rear Admiral C.S. Gray.

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Command is responsible for all U.S. Navy shore-based installations on the East Coast and the Midwestern States of the U.S.. NSA Crane is one of the 17 Navy installations that the Regional Command oversees.

“MA3 Keegan represented himself and our command here at NSA Crane very well during his posting in support of The Portsmouth Navy Shipyard,” said LCDR Buitrago. “We expect he’ll continue to excel now that he’s returned for duty with us at NSA Crane.”

MA3 Arthur, a native of Pickerington, OH, was excited when asked about his recent temporary duty at the Naval Shipyard. “It was my first assignment along the Atlantic Coast,” he said. “It was amazing to see the ocean every day and the work being done at the shipyard to ensure our Navy craft were being refit or made ready for deployment.”
