Pickerington Murder Mystery Night Coming This July!

Register your team for a fun night of clue solving in Olde Pickerington including prizes and giveaways.

April 26, 2024
From the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce

In the quaint bedroom community of Pickerington, where life ebbs and flows with the gentle predictability of the seasons, an imposter lurks. Living among us, under the guise of neighbor, respected Chamber member, and friend, is none other than the infamous jewel thief, “The Nightingale,” member of a notorious international crew whose heists have dazzled and baffled law enforcement around the world.

No one has ever seen The Nightingale—aside from their crew. They have chosen our town as a place to lie low, to blend in, until the heat subsides from their last spectacular heist—the daring theft of the legendary and priceless Empress’ Heart.

An Interpol agent has come to town, identifying a list of community members suspected of being acquainted with the criminal fraternity. And the situation becomes even more dire when a dead body is discovered in the parking lot of City Hall…

Join your community at this NEW event on July 27. The Pickerington Murder Mystery Night, hosted by the Pickerington Area Chamber and presented by the City of Pickerington, brings area businesses and community members together for a night of food, fun, and mystery.

Preregister your own team of investigators for $60/team of four ($15 for additional team members). Then on July 27, 4-8 p.m., your team can wander Olde Pickerington Village, interrogate suspects, visit clue stations and businesses, get tips from real detectives, solve puzzles, and obtain fingerprint analysis from the CSI Tent. Can you identify the imposter and solve the crime?

Teams who register by July 10 will receive detective kits and swag bags for each member. If you register later/onsite, supplies may vary. Check in at City Hall—the location of the CRIME SCENE—where instructions, story line, suspects, clue stops, and business/vendor locations will be provided. Develop your team strategy and visit stops at your own pace to solve the mystery. There is a prize for best team costumes and for the top team of sleuths.
