Filled to the brim with fun events and local attractions to explore, Visit Fairfield County’s 2023 Destination Guide is available now at the visitor center in downtown Lancaster just in time for the kickoff of the travel season. 

The Destination Guide features 32 pages of information showcasing events, restaurants, shops, museums, lodging, parks, and more.

History enthusiasts will delight in Fairfield County’s many cultural attractions and original covered bridges, nature lovers will enjoy more than 8,000 acres of green space in the outstanding parks and preserves, and art aficionados can admire sculptures, murals, and exhibitions, or create a masterpiece in one of the county’s fun art studios. There is truly something for everyone!

The 2023 Destination Guide cover features a young couple photographed at the Fairfield County Fair by Arianna Wharton Photography. The cover was selected after hosting the organization’s first-ever cover photo contest.

The guide also features articles on how best to spend three days in Fairfield County, planning a day of family fun, and interviews with local entrepreneurs and volunteers. Readers can even take a short quiz to determine which of Visit Fairfield County’s 20+ themed trails is a fit for them! The guide is fun, educational, and inspirational for anyone interested in discovering more of Fairfield County. 

To get your copy of the brand new 2023 Destination Guide, stop in the Visit Fairfield County visitor center at 158 W. Wheeling Street in downtown Lancaster between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, or check out the outdoor resource kiosk available 24 hours a day. A digital version of the guide is also available on VisitFairfieldCounty.org, or you may call the visitor center for a guide to be mailed to you.
