This Saturday, August 20 from 9 am util noon, Epiphany Lutheran (268 Hill Road) will be hosting a document shredding event. The service is limited to five boxes per car and no papers should be bound or in folders. They will not be accepting electronics.

The shredding is free although cash donations will be accepted for Joseph’s Coat. You may donate clothing, furniture and household items as well.

Per the organization’s website, Joseph’s Coat is a local non-profit focused on helping families who are homeless and those who are transitioning from homelessness to permanent housing. Joseph’s Coat partners with many local churches including Epiphany, St. Pius X, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Peace United Methodist and many more.

Epiphany is also encouraging the donation of Halloween costumes and dress-up outfits of all sizes. During the month of October, Joseph’s Coat also provides attire for school and community parties.
