Pickerington, Ohio – Come out for the Pickerington Senior Center’s 2nd Annual Derby Day Party and Fundraiser on May 2! This event is expected to bring 1,500 people of all ages from the Pickerington community together for an afternoon of food, prizes, big hats, and Derby Fun.

Tickets are $25 per person and include one meal ticket, one drink ticket, five raffle tickets and one-horse race ticket. Click here to purchase tickets.

And even if you can’t attend, enter the amazing raffle that has five grand prizes including a cruise, a $2000 vacation voucher, and tickets to the Daytona 500. Raffle tickets start at $10 and are available until May 2, 6:30 p.m. The drawing is May 2, 6:55 p.m. You don’t have to be present to win!

Why this fundraiser matters:
The Pickerington Senior Center is on pace to serve over 10,000 meals to local seniors in 2026. The center has served almost 2,000 meals to date in 2026. However, we are currently preparing these meals using commercial kitchen equipment installed around 1980. The goal for this year’s Derby Day event is to raise $30,000 to upgrade our kitchen, allowing the center to continue meeting the growing needs of seniors in our community.
