May 1

4:30 am: A man wearing a gray hoodie broke into eight vehicles in the Sycamore Creek neighborhood.

11:45 am: Someone broke into Como Property Services and stole equipment and cash.

6:00 pm: An 18-year-old man was charged with trespassing at the train bridge east of the Simsbury Disc Golf Course.  A 48-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were given warnings. (Kansas)

May 2

10:00 am: Officers arrested a 25-year-old man after he allegedly tried to cash another man’s check at Kemba Financial Credit Union.

May 4

6:15 pm: A 20-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman were allegedly caught shoplifting Gucci perfume at Kohls. As they approached the exit, officers believe they saw the police vehicle, then turned back into the store.  They placed the perfume back on the display then exited the store.

  

 

When confronted, the younger woman became upset. She said an employee was judging them and wrongly accusing them of stealing.  Surveillance video caught the women taking the perfume (valued at $296.77 and $434.47 respectively) and returning it.  Because they had passed the registers without paying, they were charged with petty theft. A small child was with them.

May 5

6:00 am: Someone broke into a vehicle on Grisby Lane.

8:00 am: The window of a minivan was busted in Cherry Hill.

2:00 pm: A fight broke out at Pickerington Central.

9:00 pm: The window of a recreation vehicle was busted at Picktown Self Storage.

May 6

3:00 am: An unknown man stole a six-pack of beer from Circle K.

May 7

4:30 am: Two men stole five cases of beer from Speedway.

4:30 pm: Thieves broke the windows of two vehicles in Cracker Barrel’s parking lot.

11:45 pm: Police broke up a party on Torridon Court involving underage drinking.

May 6

  • 1400 N. Memorial Dr., Lancaster, traffic stop, 30 yr. old male arrested for outstanding warrant and transported Rock Bridge where he was turned over to Hocking County Sheriff’s deputies.
  • US33/Allen Rd., traffic stop, 29 yr. old female arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, 26 yr. old female arrested for drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments, and 25 yr. old male arrested for outstanding warrant and drug abuse instruments.
