The Wagnalls Memorial Library in Lithopolis is known for its rich history, beautiful architecture and diverse collection of books. But on Saturday, January 13, from 7 pm to 10 pm the library will be transformed into a magical wonderland for ‘Your Ball”, a wizard-themed event for adults.

The loft will be enchanted into a Great Hall of a renowned wizarding school, where you’ll be immersed in an interactive murder mystery with costumed actors presented by the Wagnalls Community Theatre

Actors from the theater will be in character to interact with guests and give clues.  Everyone who correctly guesses the murderer will be entered in a drawing for a prize. 

In addition to the murder mystery, there will be a DJ with dancing, hot appetizers, desserts, a cash bar with beer, wine and specialty magical drinks and a special buttery beverage, free nonalcoholic beverages, tarot card reading, and a costume contest.  

Per the Wagnalls website, “This fantastical event is strictly for grown-ups, so get ready to dance your socks off, munch on some yummy appetizers, and sip on some wizardry-themed cocktails from the cash bar. This is one Ball you won’t want to miss!”

Guests are encouraged to dress up as their favorite characters or wear their own wizarding attire.

Tickets are $30.00 per person and available online at https://www.wagnallslibrary.org/. You must bring identification if you plan to purchase alcohol.
