Support Library During 34-Hour Give

Year-end Charitable Dollars Maximized to Pickerington Public Library

From the Pickerington Public Library

The Pickerington Public Library is excited to once again be part of the Fairfield County Foundation’s annual 34-Hour Give event.

This is a unique opportunity to increase the impact of year-end charitable dollars. Over the last 10 years, the Fairfield County Foundation has generated more than $1,171,000 in charitable donations during their “Get your Give On” events in conjunction with #GivingTuesday, a national movement to encourage spending with a purpose.

Funds in the Pickerington Public Library Fund, which is managed through the Fairfield County Foundation, are used to support projects outside the library’s general funding. Projects like the purchase of our outdoor tents, which provide more space and exceptional outdoor programming for customers, have been made possible through support of the Pickerington Public Library Fund.

This year, during the 34-Hour Give, the Foundation will award $34,000 in gifts, matching donations made over 34 hours, starting November 28th at 8:00 a.m. through November 29th at 6:00 p.m. In addition, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the local GIVE events, the Foundation is giving away an additional $10,000 this year!

On November 28th at 8:00 a.m. through November 29th at 6:00 p.m., donations are accepted online by visiting www.fairfieldcountyfoundation.org or delivered in person to the Fairfield County Foundation offices at 162 E. Main Street in downtown Lancaster. Donations sent through the mail will not count toward the match.

This truly is an excellent way to maximize year-end charitable dollars to Pickerington Public Library and celebrate giving this holiday season. Donate and learn more about the 34-Hour Give by visiting www.fairfieldcountyfoundation.org or https://www.pickeringtonlibrary.org.
