New CEO for United Way of Fairfield Co.

United Way of Fairfield County is excited to announce that Christine Simmons will be starting as the new CEO on July 31. 

As the Business Account Specialist at Fairfield Federal Savings and Loan, Christine has spent the last 26 years developing strong ties in our community and has dedicated herself to helping others, including but not limited to many of the United Way partners throughout Fairfield County. 

“Christine is someone who cares about the local community. She has shown years of dedication to the United Way and is a wonderful addition. I’m looking forward to working with her to help drive funding to aide those in the most need throughout our county.” Said Keith Kumler, President, United Way Board of Trustees. 

“Assuming the role of CEO of United Way of Fairfield County is a deeply personal journey for me,” said Simmons, “as I have experienced firsthand the impactful transformations this organization can bring to lives, and I am thrilled to contribute to its mission from this influential position.”

A Lancaster High School graduate with a BA from Ohio University, Christine serves on the Pickerington Chamber Board of Trustees, is a founding member of the Rivet Society, is a former President of the United Way’s Board of Trustees, volunteers for numerous non-profits throughout the community. In her spare time, she enjoys shopping, spending quality time with her family and friends, and indulging in the joy of listening to music.
