Police/Sheriff’s Reports April 24-30, 2022

April 24

1:45 pm: Three teenage girls (two from Canal Winchester and one from Pickerington) were picnicking near the train trestle (Kansas). The police advised the girls that they were trespassing.

April 25

1:30 pm: Two sixteen-year-old girls were fighting at Pickerington Central.

4:00 pm: A Baltimore man allegedly submitted eight false doctor excuses to Liberty Union Elementary School to excuse his son’s absences for March and the beginning of April.  The excuses used old letterhead from the Pickerington Pediatric Associates and the forged name belonged to a doctor who no longer worked at the facility.

4:15 pm: A twenty-two-year-old Columbus man allegedly tried to cash a bad check at Park National Bank.

4:15 pm: A suspect stole “a large amount of deodorant and body wash” from Walgreens, they allegedly had committed the same crime the prior week.

April 28

  

 

2:00 am: In the middle of the night, police were called to the Lake’s Edge Apartments regarding a domestic disturbance. When they arrived, officers found a 28-year-old man sitting in his car while his naked, 21-year-old girlfriend yelled at him from their balcony.

April 29

6:30 pm: A 26-year-old Pickerington man was found trespassing underneath the train trestle (Kansas).

7:00 pm: A 22-year-old Pickerington man was allegedly caught trespassing near the train trestle (Kansas).

  • 13000 block of Needham Pl., Violet Twp., petty theft, fraudulent check, report taken.
