The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of its Home & Garden Expo, presented by Ohio Water Heaters and held at the Combustion Brewery & Taproom on April 6, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Building on the success of its inaugural year, the expo is poised to welcome residents and visitors alike for a day filled with inspiration, entertainment, and community spirit, all free of charge.

As spring awakens the desire for renewal and beautification in our homes and gardens, the expo arrives at a perfect time, offering a treasure trove of ideas, services, and products. With more than 30 vendors specializing in home improvement, landscaping/hardscaping, repair services, décor, and garden care, attendees will find everything they need to kickstart their spring projects. Community Sponsor Capitol Fence will provide bags for visitors to collect information from the various exhibitors.

The event is not just about browsing and shopping; it’s a community celebration. To enhance the festive atmosphere, live music by Rese Jhordan will provide a lively soundtrack for the day’s activities, sponsored by Union Home Mortgage. Families will be delighted to find the Kiddie Academy’s Kiddie Garden area, a dedicated space where children can engage in fun and creative activities, making the expo a fantastic outing for the whole family.

In addition to the visual and musical treats, the expo will feature a free sample room, allowing guests to taste and discover local products. For those who love a bit of adventure, the Coldwell Banker Realty Scavenger Hunt will offer attendees a fun activity for a chance to win a 4-person bike and kayak tour of Buckeye Lake from 3XP Tours.

To add to the excitement, the first 20 attendees will receive a free drink token from Bar Sponsor Coldwell Banker Realty to be used for a craft beer or other beverages from the second-floor bar in the Expo area.

The Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to bringing people together and supporting local businesses. This event reflects that mission, offering a platform for home and garden experts to showcase their talents and for community members to connect with these local resources.

Mark your calendars for April 6 for a family day in Olde Pickerington Village. Don’t miss this opportunity to make the second annual expo even more successful than the first, fostering community spirit and inspiring your next home and garden project. Also, the Pickerington-Violet Township Historical Museum Yard Sale is April 5-6 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. And area shops will be open as well, including Ruby Joy Boutique and The Humble Crate, Artisan Marketplace.

Space is still available for home and garden businesses who wish to exhibit. Contact Kim Barlag at kim@pickeringtonchamber.com.
