Next weekend, the skies above southeastern Columbus will be filled with the sights and sounds of aircraft as the 2026 Columbus Air Show, presented by ScottsMiracle-Gro, takes flight over Rickenbacker International Airport (2241 John Cir. Dr., Columbus, OH 43217).
The event runs Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21, and is headlined by two aerobatic teams: the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds.
This year’s schedule includes a brand-new Twilight Show, featuring fireworks and pyrotechnics to conclude Friday and Saturday’s slate of dazzling stunts and photo opportunities. The event also includes the Celebrate America 250 Finale, as the air show is one of the premier America 250 Ohio events.

On Friday and Saturday, parking, gates and ground displays open at 1 p.m. and close at 9 p.m., though flight performances do not begin until 3:30 p.m. and end at 8:45 p.m. On Sunday, gates open at 9 a.m. and close at 5 p.m., with flight performances running from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Ticket prices start at $49.54 per person and are subject to increase, with parking an additional fee of $22.76 or more. Tickets can be purchased at: Tickets | Columbus Air Show
The event may cause significant traffic delays in the area, including along I-270 near Alum Creek Drive.
