March 4
4:32 p.m. A catalytic converter was stolen from a Hyundai Tucson parked near Longhorn Steakhouse.
March 5
5:45 p.m. A dog on Heff Court allegedly bit a FedEx driver.
March 6
1:34 a.m. A 19-year-old Columbus man was allegedly pulled over for a burned-out brake light near the intersection of Hill and Tussing Roads. Police found marijuana in the vehicle. He told the officer that he was making door dash deliveries on behalf of the vehicle’s owner who was also the guardian of his three teen passengers.
10:10 p.m. A 37-year-old Westerville man allegedly stole $1121.11 worth of alcohol and gum from Kroger on Hill Road. Officers found cocaine in his vehicle. His passenger, a 24-year-old Pickerington woman, said she did not know him. She offered him $15.00 to drive her to her grandmother’s and he agreed but had to stop by Kroger first. She was wanted on a felony warrant out of Delaware County.
2:37 p.m. A 68-year-old woman reported that a check she mailed at the Pickerington post office had been stolen, washed and rewritten for $8,000.25.
March 7
2:06 p.m. A 17-year-old boy told teens at Pickerington Central to stop bullying his girlfriend. Later, the males, who ranged in ages from 17 to 19, allegedly drove to the Fox Glen West looking to fight the boy. They continued to taunt the boy despite adults telling them to leave. When one of the parents reached into her purse to call the police, one of the teens yelled, “you about to get hit with some hot shit!”
2:38 p.m. A 29-year-old Pickerington man living on Warwick Lane was issued a citation after neighbors allegedly called in a noise complaint for his barking dog. Since December 20, 2021, Police had been called to the property 21 times for the same complaint.
March 8
1:23 p.m. A 66-year-old man reported that the catalytic converter had been stolen from his mobile home parked along West Columbus Street.
March 9
9:34 a.m. Prescription drugs were stolen from a vehicle on Drexel Place.
10:37 a.m. Three 11-year-old boys and a 12-year-old boy spray painted a wooden guardrail on Roundwood Court. Their parents made them sand off the damage.
5:49 p.m. A 29-year-old Pickerington woman alleged that she paid $1,500 to a 51-year-old Hilliard man for a pair of Apple Airpods, but he never delivered.
March 10
4:46 p.m. Someone tried to open a fraudulent T-Mobile account using the identity of a 66-year-old Pickerington Man.
March 11
12:29 p.m. A purse was stolen from a car parked at Planet Fitness.
