For a fun and festive way to celebrate the holiday season, check out Pickerington Community Theatre (PCT)’s latest production, Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!).

Instead of performing Charles Dickens’ beloved holiday classic for the umpteenth time, actors decide to perform every Christmas story ever told. In this fast, furious, and slightly irreverent look at holiday classics and traditions. Santa Claus, Rudolph, the Grinch, and just about every other seasonal character, make an appearance in this comedy that will hopefully have you laughing all the way to the New Year!

The cast consists of four actors: Diane Hooper, Bettie Bechtel, Colin Luther, and Courtney Dobson. The director is Megan Gibson, who has previously directed several shows for the theatre, such as The Addams Family, The Wizard of Oz, and The Little Mermaid.

The show runs from December 1 to December 10 at the Violet Township Community Theater at the Wigwam Event Center, located at 10190 Blacklick-Eastern Road NW. The performance dates and times are Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.. The show is rated PG for some mild adult language and lightly suggestive humor.

Tickets for Every Christmas Story Ever Told (And Then Some!) are available online at Pickerington Community Theatre’s website or at the door. The prices are $19 for adults, $17 for seniors (55 and older), and $17 for children (12 and under). You can also follow them on Facebook for updates and news.

Friday, Dec. 8, audience members are encouraged to enter will the holiday sweater contest. On Saturday, the Grinch & Whos visit pre-show and on Sunday Santa will be available for pictures in the theater lobby beginning at 11:00 a.m.
