Adults interested in multiplying their earning power and creating a sense of empowerment through a new career can explore the opportunities at Eastland-Fairfield through an informational programming event to be held on Thursday, April 25.

Local adults who are interested in learning about new and exciting ways to multiply their earning power and find purpose through their work can explore opportunities for a new career at Eastland-Fairfield Adult Workforce Development Information Night, set for Thursday, April 25.

Adult Workforce Development Information Night serves as a chance for adults seeking a career that supports their desired lifestyle through the opportunities available at Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools.

The event will be held at two locations and will allow interested individuals to learn about the program options, financial aid assistance, Student Services, and can meet with instructors to answer questions. Attendees can also tour the facilities that are associated with each program. Information Night will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Eastland-Fairfield offers 10 full-time adult programs and courses that support public services, healthcare, and the skilled trades. Customized training is also available to businesses seeking to upskill their employees, as a group, with the knowledge and experience needed to make the organization more efficient. State-funded preparation programs are also available through Aspire, which includes HSE (formerly GED) prep courses, English Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and forklift and safety training.

Registration is recommended, but not required. There is no cost to attend this event.
