Free Harvest Festival at Slate Run

October 4, 2021

The annual Slate Run Fall Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 16 from 11 am-3 pm is a free, fall-themed fun event for all ages, including activities and offerings like hayrides, a corn maze, archery with pumpkins as targets, games, pumpkin patch, fall crafts (like pumpkin painting), animals from the Ohio Wildlife Center and additional activities at Slate Run’s Living Historical Farm.

Families will be asked to limit their pumpkins to one per child to ensure that as many families as possible can enjoy the pumpkin patch. All activities will be held in the Buzzard’s Roost Picnic Area at Slate Run Metro Park. The Friends of Metro Parks will be hosting a popcorn and cider station.

You can view all Metro Parks programs on their website here and create an online account to register, should registration be required. Not all do, so the parks encourage guests to visit our website at metroparks.net for specific information.

The Metro Parks also encourage guests to stay tuned via their e-newsletter and blog or social media channels for any future updates, events and announcements.
