LANCASTER, Ohio – AHA! Children’s Museum invites families to celebrate summer with two engaging events designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and community connection. Both events are an affordable way for guardians and kids of all ages to enjoy seasonal fun.
From hands-on outdoor exploration to lively entertainment, AHA!’s summer events offer something for every child. Families can look forward to “Celebrate! Summer!” and “Line Dancing with Lori,” two unique experiences that encourage children to express their creativity, try new things, and connect with their community.
Families can kick off the season at “Celebrate! Summer!”from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at AHA!’s outdoor Nature Playscape (weather permitting). The event will feature activities including sand art, live animals, crafts, and a variety of other fun, family-friendly activities. This event is included with memberships or general admission.
Later in the season, families are invited back for “Line Dancing with Lori” from 6 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Held in the AHA! parking lot, this FREE community event is part of the Lancaster Festival and will feature line dancing led and taught by Lori, set against a backdrop of vintage tractors from the Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club.
“We encourage both newcomers and long-time AHA! members to join us this summer,” said Julia Hilty, executive director of AHA! Children’s Museum. “These events highlight what AHA! does best – creating opportunities for exploration, play and creativity in a fun, welcoming environment.”
