VT Women’s League Auction 2021

June 30, 2021

On June 27, the Violet Township Women’s League (VTWL) held a raffle-style auction at the Wigwam Event Center. The annual event was cancelled last year due to COVID. This year was the first time for the auction to be held at the Wigwam.

“We raised $4720.00 towards our Community Service Scholarship Fund,” said Barbara Rollins second vice president of the VTWL. “We give out scholarships yearly. This year we gave four $2600. There is more about us on our webpage vtwl.org. The Wigwam Event Center was very helpful to us and the space was just perfect for our raffle.”

The club meets the fourth Tuesday of each month August through May at the American Legion located at 7725 Refugee Road in Pickerington. Doors open at 6:15 pm. Each meeting consists of a social time, a brief business meeting, a fun and/or informative program, and a community service collection or project.

Per the group’s website, VTWL a not-for-profit (501)(c)(3) organization founded on principles of service and volunteerism, “the members of the Violet Township Women’s League dedicate their time, energy, and talents toward the enrichment of our community”.
