Lancaster, Ohio – The Fairfield County Auditor is pleased to highlight the County’s Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR), which is available online at https://www.co.fairfield.oh.us/auditor/fc-financial-reports-ACFR-PAFR.html. The PAFR provides residents with a concise, easy-to-read summary of the County’s financial activities and overall financial condition. Designed as a companion to the County’s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, the PAFR presents key financial information
in a format that is accessible to the public, using charts, graphics, and plain language instead of technical
accounting terminology.

Dr. Carri Brown, Fairfield County Auditor, stated, “These reports aim to inform the public about the
County’s financial condition without excessive detail or the use of technical terms. They are designed to
make government finances more transparent and understandable for everyone.”

In addition to providing an overview of the County’s revenues, expenditures, and financial position, the
report includes several items of community interest, such as the County’s largest taxpayers and top
employers. Residents, businesses, and community stakeholders are encouraged to review the report to
learn more about the financial health of Fairfield County.
