The City of Pickerington will debut a new sign at the City’s main entrance in recognition of the community’s multiple OHSAA State Championship titles. The sign dedication will take place Monday, April 3, 2023 at 11 a.m. at the Welcome to Pickerington sign at the intersection of State Route 256 and State Route 204.

Parking is located near Chase Bank at 1785 Hill Road North. Police officers will assist in crossing the street to the location, as there is no crosswalk.

Pickerington’s high school athletic teams, as well as the Pickerington Special Olympics teams, have won more than 20 state titles in sports including football, basketball, baseball and track and field.

“We’re proud of the successes of our student athletes and coaches and wanted to do something special to recognize their accomplishments in a more permanent way,” said Mayor Lee Gray. “We are Pickerington
proud and look forward to adding to this sign for many years to come.”
