November 11, 2021

On Friday, November 12 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm, members of the Rise Up Alliance will join the Wagnalls Community Theatre to perform a cabaret of your favorite showtunes.

All Together Now! features songs from Musical Theatre International’s beloved catalogue including Annie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Come From Away, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Godspell, Guys and Dolls, Hairspray, Into the Woods, Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors, Mamma Mia!, Matilda, My Fair Lady, Once on This Island, Rent, Waitress and many more!” said director Judith Cosgray.

“Songs like Supercalafragalistic, Let It Go and Tomorrow (from Annie) will be recognizable to everyone.”

Wagnalls Community Theatre and Rise Up Arts Alliance are collaborating on this endeavor as a fundraise. Half of the proceeds will benefit the Wagnalls Memorial Library with the remainder split between the two organizations to further their artistic endeavors for the community.

“The revue features songs from the world’s most iconic musicals, so there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy,” Cosgray said. “Our goal with this event is to provide hope, inspiration and excitement to our community through the transformative power of musical theatre.”

Rise Up Arts Alliance has conducted Cabaret performances at the Wagnalls Memorial for the last 2 years. The performers range from age five to adults and include many familiar faces from the local community theatre scene.

“The past year has been a challenging time for everyone, particularly arts organizations,” Cosgray said. “We look forward to welcoming our patrons back with this truly wonderful revue. We are so excited to work together and bring this fantastic selection of music together, performed by extremely talented members of the community.”

The cabaret will be held at the Wagnalls Memorial Theatre, 150 East Columbus Street in Lithopolis.

Tickets for All Together Now! cost $15.00 for adults and $10.00 for students and can be purchased online at
