November 12

1:30 am A 30-year-old man from Charlotte, NC was cited for driving on a suspended license after being pulled over for weaving between lanes on Hill Road near Refugee.

12:14 pm Someone broke into a vehicle on a U-Haul trailer parked at Overland Apartments and stole a laptop and other electronics.

1:37 pm A 41-year-old Canal Winchester man allegedly left his six-year-old, barefoot son at McDonald’s while he shopped at Kroger.

10:16 pm A 21-year-old Pickerington man allegedly gave beer to a teenage boy he came across near the downtown Subway.

November 13

7:57 pm A 17-year-old Violet Township girl received a text from her shift manager at Pizza Hut that reportedly included an image of a “deceased elderly man bound with rope with his genitals exposed.” The restaurant suspended the shift manager pending a human resources review.

November 14

11:12 pm An officer allegedly pulled over a vehicle on Hill Road near Stonecreek Drive North for driving without headlights. The driver a 29-year-old woman formerly of Columbus had a suspended license and her temporary plate had expired. She pleaded with the police not to impound her sedan because she was living in it. The officer allowed her to park the car at Iron Chef then to call for someone to pick up her and her daughter.

November 15

12:43 pm A 55-year-old Columbus man allegedly tried to cash out someone else’s account at CME Federal Credit Union.

 

 

3:18 pm A 46-year-old Violet Township man allegedly became belligerent when he tried to return a jar of salsa and Giant Eagle offered to issue his refund on a gift card. “He got angry, grabbed the salsa and began to leave.” As he left, he knocked over a cookie display in the lobby. He told customers entering the store that he planned to “come back and shoot them.”

November 16

10:51 am A 22-year-old Pickerington woman allegedly clipped the front corner of another vehicle when she changed lanes on Hill Road. When police confronted her as to why she skipped the scene, she told them that she was unaware that she had hit anybody.

12:30 pm A 19-year-old Lancaster man with a suspended license was pulled over on Lockville Road for allegedly driving 42 mph in a 25-mph-zone.

November 17

1:17 am A 41-year-old man from Ashville was arrested on a warrant after he was allegedly caught with drugs at Goodwill.

8:07 pm The owner of a Kia Soul took their vehicle from Firestone without paying the $1029 repair bill.
