Pickerington Police Reports June 8 – 14, 2026

June 8

6:20 p.m. Officers responded to reports that juveniles had broken into the Ridgeview Middle School building on multiple occasions. The investigation is ongoing.

June 9

4:30 a.m. Police responded to a crash caused by malfunctioning traffic signals at the intersection of Hill and Tussing roads. Officers directed traffic until crews from the Ohio Department of Transportation arrived.

10:35 p.m. A driver reported that another vehicle struck his car at the intersection of Hill Road and Blacklick-Eastern Road before fleeing the scene.

June 10

8:23 a.m. A resident found a bag containing a white powdery substance outside the Overland Park Apartments.

June 11

12:58 a.m. Following a traffic stop near Tussing Road and Winderly Lane, police cited a 42-year-old Columbus man for driving under suspension and no license.

10:55 a.m. A 72-year-old Reynoldsburg woman allegedly struck another vehicle in the Refugee Road roundabout before hitting a fire hydrant and a light pole.

11:03 a.m. Staff at the Turnberry Apartments discovered a firearm inside a vacant apartment.

12:30 p.m. A woman allegedly stole $390 worth of merchandise from DSW and left the store before officers arrived.

June 12

12:18 p.m. A Kohl’s loss prevention officer reported that three women entered the store the previous day, selected tote bags, filled them with $598.09 worth of merchandise and left without paying. Police said the trio had allegedly committed similar thefts at multiple Kohl’s stores throughout central Ohio.

11:40 p.m. An officer stopped a vehicle on Hill Road near Interstate 70 for a missing license plate light and arrested the 28-year-old Columbus driver on an outstanding warrant from Westerville.

June 13

2:06 p.m. Someone stole several items, including a laptop computer, from an unlocked truck parked in the Fox Glen West neighborhood.

3:16 p.m. A local telehealth practitioner reported losing hundreds of thousands of dollars because of allegedly incorrect billing by a third-party company. The investigation is ongoing.

3:17 p.m. Police cited a 41-year-old man for failure to yield and driving without a license after he allegedly turned left from Hill Road onto Refugee Road into the path of oncoming traffic. Police also learned the man was wanted by U.S. immigration authorities for allegedly entering the country illegally.

3:33 p.m. Police issued a no-trespass order to a 22-year-old Columbus woman after she refused to pay for a manicure at Forever Nails. The woman claimed the finished nails did not resemble the example photo she had provided. Officers agreed the work differed from the requested design, and no charges were filed.

6:09 p.m. Someone punctured the tires of a work vehicle parked at the Turnberry Apartments.

June 14

7:08 a.m. An officer stopped a Jeep Grand Cherokee after it illegally crossed Hill Road from McDonald’s to the BP station. During a search of the vehicle, officers found more than $10,000 in cash and a small scale. A K-9 unit did not detect the presence of drugs. The 20-year-old Cleveland driver was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

3:03 p.m. A resident reported ordering a $3,000 phone from what she believed was an Apple affiliate but never received the device.
