“Ready to pour and play? Getting our wax ladies night ready!”

Ladies, come out Saturday, December 11 from 6:30 to 10:30 pm to the Combustion Brewery & Taproom event space for “Fun, fellowship and YOU!” at Wax n Wine.

Ticket purchase includes your seat, a personal charcuterie board, personal wine flight, handmade candle and entry into a raffle for a $500.00 gift card for one of the evenings vendors.

“Wax n Wine is going to be amazing!” said event organizer Theresa (T.K.) Madison. “It is going to be the event that is all about marketing, having a good time and letting our hair down.

“TK has curated dozens of successful events that cater to an exuberant and happy sect of people! You want to have fun, be engaged and party? Then you attend a TK event!”

Our group of Pickerington moms and wives do a lot around 256 between Kroger and PYAA and all those things. This is an opportunity for us all to get together and have wine and listen to the music. You know, like the fun, upbeat music that the 80’s and 90’s used to be.”

Guests will enter to a “sensory journey” where they can experience all the scent options before deciding which candle they wish to make. Will you choose “Cinnamon and Spice” for the holidays or are you interested in something more floral?

“Not everyone will want to drink wine, but people still want to have a good time and to do something handsy or artsy,” Madison said. “There’s just a feel-good, juju vibe that goes along with candles, that makes people happy to chit-chat.

“TK – you know she’s always busy with something; in fact she’s hiding her eight other arms behind the chair! Multi-faceted, and eager for ladies night PICKERINGTON-style! “

Something about the smell and the reason why you are there – buying a candle for someone’s birthday or buying a candle for your home or buying a candle for someone who doesn’t feel good.”

“We have luxurious holiday and everyday scents this Saturday. Candle making will happen from 6:30-7:30 pm.”

All the vendors are local, female-owned businesses including Creations by Shaunessa, Mary Kay, Scentsy, Ruby Joy Boutique, Bloom Boutique and Color Street.
