The Pickerington Public Library was selected to receive a National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Big Read grant.
The library kicked off the Big Read on January 19 at the Main Branch with a presentation by Dreams on Horseback an equine therapy program, located in Blacklick.
The grant supports a community reading program focused on the following books: Sitting Pretty: The View from My Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body by Rebekah Taussig, The Degenerates by J. Albert Mann, Wink by Rob Harrell and Just Ask!: Be Different, Be Brave, Be You by Sonia Sotomayo.

The next event for the Big Read will be a showing of the movie, Wonder, on March 3 from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm at the Main Branch.
