Anticipation is building as Pickerington High School North Theatre, under direction of Allen DeCarlo, prepares to raise the curtain on the classic musical, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, this weekend, at the PHSN Performing Arts Center (7800 Refugee Rd).

“The show is a series of little skits that show off the wonderful personalities of the Peanuts cast,” said Brandon Hudepohl, who plays Rerun, the younger brother of Linus and Lucy.

“It also has awesome dances and songs about all the fun things that makes Peanuts, Peanuts!” Hudepohl said, “It is short and sweet and great to watch!”

The snippet-style of the show is popular among the cast members.

“I love how we have so many scenes that are so drastically different from each other.” said Olivia Painter, who embodies the character of Snoopy, “I think it showcases the cast’s acting in a very beautiful way.”
