On August 8, 2026, the Ohio departments of Public Safety, Veterans Services, and Behavioral Health, in partnership with the Ohio State University and Chewjitsu Open, will host the Battle of Boots and Badges jiu jitsu tournament.

Adaptive Stories and Play combines books, songs, movements, and sensory activities into a class that promotes learning in a fun way. It will feature quieter music, fidget toys, interactive learning, a visual schedule, and the flexibility for children to move.
