Shred & Recycling Day

– Royal Document Destruction will accept paper documents, locked and secured for later shredding at their facility.
– TDR Recyclers will accept most electronics
– St. Vincent de Paul will collect clothing and household goods donations
– Pickerington Food Pantry will accept non-perishable food item donations
– The Pickerington Lions will collect any used eyeglasses

Safely get rid of old tax documents, clear out those bursting drawers, and do a big spring cleaning while giving to a good cause.

Memorial Day Special Service

Special service at the American Legion Hall with Guest Speakers State Senator Tim Schaffer, Pickerington Police Chief Todd Cheney and Maj General Jack Davis, USMC, retired. Music provided by Acafellow Four Quartet and food trucks from Hack Sliders and Johnsons Ice Cream.

Memorial Day Violet Cemetery Service

American Legion Post 283 with help from Cub Scout Pack 256, BSA Troop 26 & BSA Troop 42 will honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for America starting with a wreath laying ceremony at Violet Cemetery (180 East Columbus Street) then the Legion members will lead a march to Victory Park.
