Stories from the Grave at the Historical Museum
Free Admission and Popcorn! Enjoy early Halloween fun with “Stories from the Grave” told by former Pickerington residents (via re-enactors). They will reveal some of Pickerington-Violet Township’s spookiest and liveliest happenings. Show times are:
2:00 PM: See and hear which Pickerington buildings are haunted, along with tales of 1879 body snatchers.
2:30 PM: Russell Stiverson was the only pharmacist in Pickerington from 1951 until he died of a heart attack in his store on August 3, 1980. He has many stories to tell about the 1900’s drug business.
3:00 PM: Clyde Leach, Pickerington Depot Agent for 30 years (1907-1942), will share Pickerington railroad artifacts, stories, and life/death on the railroad.
3:30 PM: Walter and Wilma Moore operated Moore’s Pool Hall for more than 20 years between 1960-1980. Hear their stories and see their cooking stove and photos.
