The Carroll Area Historical Society invites you to a meeting on Monday, February 6 at 6:30 p.m. about the Lock Tenders at Lockville. Learn about the lives of the people who opened and closed the locks for travelers on the Ohio-Erie in the 1800s, including the local Benadum family. Jack Campbell of the Fairfield County Park District will be speaking at this program. Jack gave a wonderful program on the locks in Carroll and the surrounding areas last year, so don’t miss this one! Guests are always welcome and there is no charge to attend. The meeting will be held at 75 Center Street in Carroll.
