We will set out on a hike to search for bugs in different habitats – forest, pond, field – to see what lives in each. After collecting bugs using nets or our hands, we will put them in containers and study them! An expedition that is fun for the whole family!
Get an introduction to edible plants, then set out to find some of them.
Spiders, ants, and moths – oh my! Get your toddlers outside with nets and containers (provided), and let’s see what we can catch. Be prepared for a short hike.
We will set out in search of fabulous paw paws and, yes, taste what we find. We may even go off trail, so be ready to hike up to 2.5 miles!
It glows in the dark, eats like there is no tomorrow, and transforms before your very eyes. That is no alien. It’s a caterpillar! Come to learn about these cool critters, followed by a hike to search for them in their natural habitat.
