Wagnalls Memorial to thank local students who formed the group Story Savers

LITHOPOLIS, Ohio – With news of Ohio libraries’ budgets being cut last March, Bloom Carroll students chose to form a fundraising group, which they named Story Savers. The group spearheaded a fundraiser that included homemade goods such as bookmarks, baked goods, and craft items. Items were sold on the grounds of Wagnalls this past Memorial Day during the Bicentennial Celebration. 

These Bulldogs: Laney C., Molly B., Avery M., Tommy W., and Andrew D. raised $1000 for Wagnalls!

“We are so grateful to the Story Savers and their parents who supported their efforts.” Amy Hesterman said.

The Story Savers will be recognized at the upcoming Wagnalls Memorial Board Meeting on June 23, 2025 at 6:30PM.
