On Monday, May 12, 2025, The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation awarded twelve scholarships for a total of $18,000 to Bloom Carroll and Canal Winchester graduates from the class of 2025.

The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation has awarded and administered scholarships for high school students who reside in Bloom Township since the late 1940’s. The Foundation also assists the Walker-Hecox-Hickle American Legion Post 677 of Lithopolis to award scholarships as well. The Legion awarded three scholarships for 2025 of $3,000 each.

The recipients of the Wagnalls scholarships include Trenton McKee (BCHS), Khazandra Divan (BCHS), Christian Tennant (BCHS), Savannah Wilde (BCHS), Alaina Bell (BCHS), Katelynn Wynkoop (BCHS), Andrew Carter (OSU), Sophia Viola (CWHS) and Isabele Blauser (BCHS).

Recipients of the American Legion Post 677 are Chistopher North (Walker scholarship for CWHS graduates), Chase Hamilton (Hecox scholarship for BCHS), and Isabella Blair of Carroll, Ohio (Hickle scholarship for relations of members).

Following the ceremony, The Wagnalls Memorial Foundation Board treated the scholarship recipients, their families, and volunteers of The Wagnalls Memorial to a taco bar supper.
