Did you know there are tiny aliens under rocks in the creek? Take a break from the heat and enjoy the cool water! We will search for these tiny creatures while learning what they can tell us about water quality. Dress to get wet; shoes must be worn in the creek.

Did you know that most female fireflies cannot fly? Join us for a 1.5-mile hike where we hope to catch glimpses of these cool beetles!
Skulls & Furs
It is always best to admire wild animals from a distance. If you have ever wanted to pet a opossum, we can offer the next best thing! Come to feel some animal furs and check out cool animal skulls. Mammal field guides and coloring sheets will be available.
Night Hike
Have you ever lost your way in broad daylight? How do animals get around at night? On this two-mile hike we will put our senses to the test and learn the adaptations animals use to navigate the dark forest better than we do during the day!
Invaders Among Us
Did you know that some of your favorites plants may be harming our ecosystem! After a brief presentation about invasive plants, we will hike about 1.5 miles to search for and identify a few of the common culprits. Learn about native choices to replace the ‘invaders’ in your yard.
