From Flying Horse Farms
With just one month left to apply, Flying Horse Farms is making a final call for camper applications for the 2025 camp season. Camper priority applications will close on March 17.
Located in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, Flying Horse (FHF) provides kids and young people (ages 7-21) an opportunity to attend residential camps and family camp weekends with programming designed to help them heal, grow, and thrive. When at FHF, kids can just be kids, surrounded by a compassionate community that supports their physical, mental, and emotional needs.
Families with kids (ages 7-21) living with a range of diagnoses can apply for residential summer camps and family camp weekends. The deadline for only camper applications is March 17, with the spring family camp weekend application due by March 3 and the summer family camp application due by June 30.
Diagnoses served at camp include cancer, heart conditions, rheumatologic diagnoses, blood disorders, lung conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, craniofacial diagnoses, spinal cord diagnoses, and internalized mental health diagnoses. In addition to residential camps, FHF offers weekends for families to come together to experience camp, connection, and healing. Family weekends are also at no cost to the family and occur in April, July, and October-November 2025.
