July 8, 2025, Pickerington, OH – Pickerington Local Schools invited families, staff, and community members to a series of Town Hall meetings titled “Pickerington Schools’ Finances: The FACTS.” The community meetings are designed to explain the district’s current financial situation, explore the importance of generating revenue now, and gather community input ahead of a potential November Operating Levy.

At the July 7 Special Board Meeting, Superintendent Dr. Charles Smialek announced the administration’s recommendation to postpone the Operating Levy resolution vote—originally scheduled for July 14 to July 28, creating space for broader engagement.
