8:12 pm The loss prevention officer at Kohl’s reported that on August 28, a 45-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman shoplifted.
8:14 pm A 57-year-old man told police someone with a knife was on his property near Hill Road.
September 2
8:24 pm An officer euthanized a sickly raccoon that had collapsed on the bike path in the Graystone neighborhood.
9:21 pm A BMW X6 was pulled over by Drug Mart for allegedly only having one headlight and an expired registration sticker. The 27-year-old man driving the car was further cited when the expired plate was found to belong to a different vehicle.
9:41 pm An officer pulled over a Mazda 6 on Refugee Road near Windmiller Road after receiving notice that the driver was a 38-year-old woman wanted on a warrant out of Westerville. She was allegedly also driving without a license.
September 3
6:55 am A Pickerington Schools bus and a Kia Sorento collided near Circle K as the bus was enroute to Ridgeview Junior High School to drop off students.
11:58 pm Police responded to a report of a 33-year-old man with a gun at the Lake’s Edge Apartments. The suspect was arrested for domestic violence. He had two active warrants.
September 4
12:27 pm An officer pulled over a Kia Optima near Ridgeview Junior High School for allegedly traveling 44 mph in the 25-mph zone of Hill Road. The 20-year-old woman driving the vehicle had a suspended license.
2:44 pm A package valued at $3,000 was reportedly stolen from a home in the Pine Ridge Estates neighborhood.
6:11 pm Kroger reported that a 34-year-old woman left the store with a cart full of groceries which she had not purchased.
7:26 pm An unknown vehicle, possibly a gray Audi, reportedly struck a West Licking County Fire District ambulance on route to OhioHealth Pickerington Methodist Hospital with a patient. The vehicle fled the scene.
September 5
4:37 pm A 47-year-old woman told police that someone claiming to be “Philip K. Anderson” wrote a $98,000 check from her business account to “Ismael Soto”.
September 6
8:52 am Someone allegedly broke the window of a Dodge Charger parked at the Hampton Inn and stole items from inside.
4:52 pm A 35-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man allegedly shoplifted from Kohl’s. The two had been arrested on July 12 for the same offense.
When an officer pulled over their Nissan, the woman called for a medic to treat her heartburn. She also allegedly called 9-1-1 during the traffic stop to report shots fired at Kroger. The woman was transferred to OhioHealth Pickerington Methodist Hospital, where she was released before the officer could return from transporting her companion to jail.
A warrant was issued for her arrest. She was already wanted on three prior warrants.
September 7
2:22 am An officer pulled over a Chevrolet Suburban on Tussing Road after he allegedly saw it making multiple lane violations and having only one headlight. The 42-year-old driver, who did not have a valid license, was arrested for driving under the influence after police asked her to perform a field sobriety test.
6:29 pm Police arrested a 43-year-old woman on a warrant after her Chevrolet Traverse was pulled over for expired tags.
