September 29

12:43 p.m. – A 68-year-old male of Blacklick reported a hit-skip accident that occurred the previous morning on Hill Rd. N. near Kroger. The suspect vehicle, a gray sedan, continued southbound on Hill Rd. No injuries were reported and no suspect has been identified.
6:05 p.m. – A 26-year-old male of Columbus was cited for driving without a license and misuse of a dealer plate on Refugee Rd. near Windmiller Dr. The driver was released and the vehicle was impounded.
8:26 p.m. – A 44-year-old female of Galloway was cited for not maintaining a safe distance on Hill Rd. N. near Refugee Rd.
10:51 p.m. – A 28-year-old male of Baltimore reported his gun and cash were taken from his unlocked vehicle on Charles Ct.

September 30

2:50 a.m. – A 45-year-old female reported a sexual offense occurred in her home. Case under investigation.
8:52 a.m. – Referral received from Fairfield County Protective Services concerning an elderly female sending money for an online scam.
7:35 p.m. – Witnesses reported a Hispanic male wearing a black shirt entered a garage on Turnberry Dr. and walked out with multiple items.

October 1

5:40 a.m. – A black Chevy Malibu blocking traffic on Hill Rd. N. near I-70 was towed.
9:25 a.m. – A 55-year-old male surrendered a firearm to the Pickerington Police Department.
11:35 a.m. – A 69-year-old female on Olde Mound Ln. reported her property stakes were removed and thrown in her backyard.
5:27 p.m. – A 46-year-old male of Reynoldsburg was cited for driving under suspension and taken to Fairfield County Jail on an outstanding warrant after a traffic stop on Windmiller Dr. near Refugee Rd.
6:10 p.m. – Referral received from Fairfield County Protective Services regarding an incident at Pickerington Central High School. Case under investigation.
7:35 p.m. – A 26-year-old male of Cincinnati was cited for failure to yield when turning left at Winderly/Tussing Rd.

October 2

8:08 a.m. – A 38-year-old male on Arlington Dr. reported unauthorized withdrawals from his bank account.
4:35 p.m. – A 28-year-old male was cited for failure to yield when turning left at Hill Rd. N. and Meadows Blvd. Both vehicles were towed.
8:35 p.m. – A resident on Knights Bridge Dr. came home to find the basement door and back gate open and lights on inside. Detectives processed the home for evidence. Case under investigation.

October 3

1:56 a.m. – A family member reported an 89-year-old male of Pickerington missing. Using Flock cameras, officers located him near Gender Rd. When a 41-year-old male relative arrived to pick him up, he was found to have a felony warrant and narcotics. He was arrested; another family member returned the missing man home safely.
3:42 a.m. – A 44-year-old male from Arizona reported being assaulted by three unknown males at a local bar, leaving him unconscious with a broken jaw. He was treated at a hospital.
6:56 a.m. – A 20-year-old male of Columbus was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control after rolling his vehicle on Hill Rd. N. near I-70. No injuries were reported.
8:43 a.m. – A 42-year-old female reported an incident that occurred at Pickerington Baptist Temple during a magic show.
2:15 p.m. – Referral received from Fairfield County Protective Services regarding a hacked Chase Bank account on Exeter St.
5:10 p.m. – A walk-in reported their child was assaulted by a teacher at Pickerington Central High School. Case under investigation.
10:15 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of a male sleeping in a yard on Ellis St. Juveniles said he threw a punch when they tried to wake him. The male was later found to be related to one of the juveniles.

October 4

1:15 p.m. – A 75-year-old male of Blacklick was cited for not maintaining a safe distance at Hill Rd. N. and Stonecreek Dr.
3:15 p.m. – A 39-year-old male reported a bicycle stolen from his front yard on Norfolk Sq. N.
7:15 p.m. – Violet Township paramedics reported that an intoxicated 41-year-old male of Fairfield Township was attempting to wander into the southbound lane of Hill Road from the Drug Mart parking lot. Officers contacted multiple members of the man’s family, but all refused to claim him.

October 5

3:12 a.m. – A 31-year-old female of Columbus was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to maintain reasonable control after losing control of her car on I-70 near Hill Rd. N. She was transported to a local hospital.
3:10 p.m. – Caller reported an in-progress theft at Kohl’s. Suspects were taken into custody and issued no-trespass orders.
3:23 p.m. – A 31-year-old female of Pickerington requested a civil standby in the Kroger lot. A 32-year-old male of Columbus was found to have an outstanding warrant and was arrested.
3:29 p.m. – Minor damage reported in a non-injury accident at Hill Rd. N. and I-70. No citation issued.
8:45 p.m. – A 41-year-old male of Canal Winchester was cited for failure to stop after an accident on Long Rd. near Monebrake Dr.
