Pickerington Police Nov. 24-30, 2025

November 24

1:19 p.m. A 16-year-old Canal Winchester boy allegedly pretended to “scan and go” at Sheetz, placing items in a bag and leaving without paying. The next day, when shown surveillance images, he admitted to stealing snacks and drinks.

3:52 p.m. Medics transported a 13-year-old boy to Nationwide Children’s Hospital after a dog bit his forearm. The teen had been walking his pit bull in Simsbury when a neighbor’s pit bull attacked his dog. He was bitten while trying to separate the animals.


November 25

3:27 p.m. An employee at La Fogata reported that a DoorDash driver stole her cell phone.

4:02 p.m. Two women reportedly concealed merchandise at Ulta Beauty and left without paying.

7:08 p.m. A 57-year-old Columbus man was accused of calling a Gionino’s Pizza employee a racial slur after being unhappy with his order.

12:18 p.m. A woman reported fraudulent charges on her credit card.


November 26

1:43 a.m. An officer traveling northbound on Hill Road observed a Ford Fusion slowing to a near stop at flashing yellow lights and drifting out of its lane. The 26-year-old female driver did not have a license.

2:21 a.m. Police stopped a 27-year-old Canal Winchester woman near Hill Road and Tussing. She was cited for driving under suspension.

1:26 p.m. A man reported a pistol stolen from his truck parked along Long Road.

7:01 p.m. Kohl’s reported that two women concealed makeup in their purses and exited without paying. Officers stopped their Honda HR-V on Hill Road. Both women were taken to the police station along with three small children in their care.


November 28

4:47 p.m. A 40-year-old North Carolina man was cited for expired registration and transported to the Fairfield County Jail on an outstanding warrant from Cuyahoga County.


November 29

4:23 p.m. An 18-year-old Pickerington woman was issued a trespass warning at Dairy Queen after allegedly harassing an employee.


November 30

12:20 a.m. Near Windmiller Road, an 18-year-old Columbus man was cited for possession of marijuana.

1:37 a.m. After a traffic stop on Diley Road near Manchester, a Bloom Township man was arrested on a warrant out of Franklin County.

3:26 a.m. An officer on Preston Trails Drive reported a Chrysler 300 crossed left of center and nearly struck the patrol car head-on before stopping. A reportedly disheveled 31-year-old woman (pants unbuttoned, something stuck to her shoe) exited the passenger seat yelling at the driver. The 27-year-old male driver refused to cooperate and was taken into custody after backup arrived.

The woman allegedly told police she had been drinking, and the driver was taking her home. She said they began arguing, and she attempted to stop the vehicle by shifting it into park and grabbing the wheel, which caused the Chrysler to veer toward the cruiser.

3:06 p.m. At StoryPoint Assisted Living, a male resident reportedly assaulted a staff member.

11:42 p.m. Traveling north on Hill Road, an officer observed a Nissan SUV make multiple lane violations and nearly hit another car. The 25-year-old driver asked whether the infractions were recorded on video (the cruiser dash camera was active). He did not have a license and was wanted on multiple warrants.
