May 10

10:50 a.m. — A woman reported that an unknown person walked up to her at the ATM outside the Hill Road Kroger and allegedly stole the $300 she had just withdrawn.
3:06 p.m. — Two men allegedly left Kohl’s without paying for merchandise valued at more than $660. They were seen leaving the scene in a tan Chevrolet Malibu with a false license plate, possibly driven by a woman.

May 12

6:59 a.m. — A Dodge Challenger was reported stolen from the Pine Ridge neighborhood. Surveillance video showed the vehicle being taken from the driveway at 2:35 a.m.
4:52 p.m. — A 17-year-old Pickerington High School Central student reportedly told officers he must have grabbed the wrong bag that morning, as the five rounds of Hornady Critical Defense bullets found inside did not belong to him.
8:10 p.m. — After receiving a call from a collection agency, a woman learned that an unknown person had used her identity to open a cell phone account totaling $1,817.
10:07 p.m. — Police were called to the Hill Road Kroger to remove a 21-year-old man who was allegedly causing a scene. According to the store manager, the man became belligerent after he and his female companion were told to stop riding handicap scooters around the store.

May 14

1:53 p.m. — A 68-year-old man allegedly stole merchandise valued at $554.97 from Kohl’s.
9:42 p.m. — An unknown man and woman reportedly shoplifted from Walgreens and fled in a black SUV.

May 15

11:35 a.m. — While attempting to finance a car, a man learned that an unknown person had used his identity to open a cell phone account totaling $3,893.
6:34 p.m. — A man told police that the IRS had informed him he would receive a tax refund of $1,614, but he only received $686.05 from an unknown bank. He believed the bank served the company he hired to file his taxes and suspected the company had kept the remaining funds. He was referred to Columbus Police, as the alleged crime occurred outside Pickerington’s jurisdiction.

May 16

6:59 a.m. — An unknown person reportedly broke a window to enter a vehicle parked at Cracker Barrel and stole a purse. Cards from the purse were later used at United Dairy Farmers.
6:47 p.m. — A 41-year-old man and his 39-year-old female companion allegedly shoplifted from Kohl’s and left in a Mercury Mariner. When police stopped the vehicle near Raising Cane’s, they reportedly found narcotics believed to be cocaine and fentanyl. Both suspects had outstanding warrants.

May 17

10:40 a.m. — A resident of Stonebridge reported an unknown person asleep in a running car. Officers arrived and woke the 22-year-old woman, asking her to turn off the vehicle and step outside. After a field sobriety test, she was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. She refused a breathalyzer test.
4:15 p.m. — A motorist reported seeing four teenagers disposing of weapons near the large “Welcome to Pickerington” sign on Hill Road. Officers did not locate the teens but did find a pellet gun, a BB gun, a slingshot, and related ammunition in nearby brush.
7:09 p.m. — Witnesses called 911 to report that a Hyundai Elantra pulled alongside a 17-year-old boy in the Hunters Run shopping center. Four masked teenagers exited the car and allegedly attacked the boy. The victim later told police he “just wanted his phone returned.”
8:44 p.m. — A dog in the Spring Grove neighborhood was sitting on a porch with its owner when a family walked by with their dog. The porch dog allegedly ran up and bit the other dog. The owner reportedly told police she was unsure how the bite drew blood, since her dog had no teeth.
