Pickerington Police March 2-8, 2026

March 2

4:33 a.m. Police issued a “No Trespass” order to a 25-year-old Reynoldsburg woman who was reportedly making a scene in the lobby of the OhioHealth Pickerington emergency room. She had previously visited the ER complaining of a head injury but left before being discharged. She later returned with two children.

12:40 p.m. A 26-year-old Columbus man allegedly concealed merchandise at Kohl’s and left without paying.

4:24 p.m. The Safer Ohio School Tip Line reported that a student planned to bring a gun to Diley Middle School. Administrators and school resource officers determined there was no credible threat.

9:35 p.m. A 57-year-old Reynoldsburg woman came to the Pickerington Police Station to ask about her husband’s arrest on a warrant. She was arrested on her own outstanding warrant from the Licking County Sheriff’s Office.

March 3

8:03 p.m. A 56-year-old Columbus man brought a 12-year-old to Flanagan’s Pub to shoot pool. After staff informed him that no one under 21 was permitted, he allegedly told the boy to wait in the car. Two hours later, officers found the boy panhandling in the rain.

The boy identified his “father” but refused to give his own name, saying he “doesn’t like police.” When approached inside the bar, the man claimed the boy was his “cousin” and said he did not know the child’s last name. Flanagan’s issued a “No Trespass” order, and both left the area.

March 4

8:47 a.m. A Meadows resident reported that a Columbus man who was legally required to stay away from her may have been inside her home. Officers did not locate the man but found the victim’s car had a broken windshield and driver’s window.

11:38 a.m. A Pickerington resident reported several personal checks were stolen and cashed.

1:11 p.m. Two sisters, ages 19 and 20, both from Columbus, were fighting in the Comfort Inn hallway. Officers separated them and arrested their 40-year-old mother on an Ohio State Highway Patrol warrant.

1:56 p.m. A Pickerington man reported someone used his Verizon account to purchase more than $3,400 worth of cell phones.

2:35 p.m. An 88-year-old man reported an unknown person cashed his tax refund check.

March 6

8:14 a.m. Police arrested a 59-year-old man at Columbia Place Apartments on a Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office warrant.

9:31 a.m. A 28-year-old man was arrested at a Colony Park home on a Reynoldsburg Police warrant.

9:40 a.m. A 60-year-old Pickerington woman reported losing more than $63,000 in a sweepstakes scam that began last September. The suspect, identifying himself as “Stewart,” instructed her to deposit fraudulent checks, withdraw cash, purchase gift cards, and send photos of them. She later provided access to her bank accounts.

11:49 a.m. Officers found a 38-year-old Gahanna woman and a 40-year-old Pickerington man unconscious in a U-Haul truck on Blacklick-Eastern Road. Observing drugs in the vehicle and signs of overdose, officers administered Narcan. Both were transported to a hospital, and the woman was arrested on a warrant from Heath.

3:46 p.m. A 34-year-old Columbus woman was arrested for allegedly shoplifting about $490 in merchandise from Kohl’s.

9:53 p.m. A 27-year-old Columbus man was cited for fictitious plates and driving without a license.

March 7

3:58 a.m. A 38-year-old man was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated after nearly driving off Long Road. Officers reported a strong odor of alcohol and marijuana, and field sobriety tests indicated impairment. A marijuana roach was found near the pedals and an empty tequila bottle behind the driver’s seat.

After offering the man a courtesy ride home, officers reported a plastic bag of white powder fell from his pant leg upon exiting the cruiser, with additional powder spilled inside. The man denied the baggie belonged to him.

9:29 a.m. A 49-year-old Pickerington man reported unauthorized withdrawals from his bank account.

 

4:54 p.m. Police towed a vehicle abandoned in the roadway near Hill and Tussing roads.

March 8

4:31 p.m. A 17-year-old Columbus boy was stopped on Hill Road near Postage Drive for fictitious plates and driving on a temporary permit without a licensed adult.

6:41 p.m. At a home on Birchwood Street, three teenage boys were play fighting with a knife, resulting in a 16-year-old suffering a deep cut to the forearm.
