Pickerington Police Feb. 23 – March 1, 2026

February 23

2:33 p.m. Police were called after a 16-year-old girl became upset with her foster parents over a Wi-Fi password. Officers returned about 90 minutes later when the girl was reportedly threatening other foster children with a knife.

February 24

6:44 p.m. A 27-year-old Reynoldsburg man was cited near Refugee Road and Windmiller Drive for a fictitious license plate and driving without lights.

7:04 p.m. An officer euthanized a deer that had been struck by a vehicle on Refugee Road near Melrose Boulevard. A 38-year-old Reynoldsburg man took possession of the deer.

February 26

4:12 a.m. A 24-year-old Pickerington man was cited for driving under suspension and having no taillights following a traffic stop on Hill Road.

8:51 a.m. A 38-year-old Columbus man was cited for driving 39 mph in a 25-mph zone on Long Road. His license was already suspended.

11:46 a.m. A 29-year-old Canal Winchester woman was cited for driving 40 mph in a 25-mph zone on Lockville Road. Her license was already suspended.

4:43 p.m. A 16-year-old Pickerington boy was cited for failure to maintain his lane and driving without a license after striking another vehicle on Hill Road near Columbus Street.

5:24 p.m. Two juveniles reported that while playing basketball at Diley Middle School, multiple vehicles arrived and a group of unknown teens and adults exited and assaulted them. One adult allegedly threatened them with a gun.

February 27

4:00 p.m. A 32-year-old Pickerington man was arrested on charges of assault, aggravated trespassing and aggravated burglary after allegedly forcing his way into a home in the Knight’s Bridge area.

March 1

2:51 p.m. A 17-year-old Pickerington boy reported his electric bicycle stolen. Officers identified a 16-year-old suspect, who later directed police to the location of the bike.
