10:22 a.m. Police issued a warrant for a 27-year-old Reynoldsburg man who allegedly removed eight 12-packs of Modelo from the cooler at Sheetz on Jan. 29, loaded them into his Chevrolet Malibu and left without paying.
12:59 p.m. A 26-year-old Pickerington man was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance and expired registration after rear-ending another vehicle at Hill Road and Stonecreek Drive South.
4:22 p.m. An 80-year-old Pataskala woman reported that an unknown vehicle struck her car as she turned left onto Tussing Road from Winderly Lane.
5:27 p.m. A 53-year-old woman reported her vehicle was damaged while parked at the Hill Road Kroger.
7:52 p.m. A 21-year-old Canal Winchester man was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control and driving under suspension after allegedly speeding near Long Road and Diley Road. He lost control and struck a crosswalk sign. Violet Township medics reported no injuries.
February 3
2:29 a.m. An officer removed a tote from the roadway near Diley Road and Fox Glen Drive.
8:43 a.m. A Pickerington school bus struck a vehicle waiting in line to turn into Diley Middle School from Preston Drive. Multiple children were on board. No injuries were reported.
February 5
A&A Tobacco & Vape’s owner reported his surveillance system alerted him to two individuals attempting to enter the business. An audible alarm caused them to flee.
11:11 a.m. The manager of Hill Road Plaza contacted police regarding a disabled Econoline camper parked in the lot. Officers spoke with a 59-year-old woman living in the camper who said she had permission to remain through Feb. 6. On Feb. 6, officers observed her transferring belongings to a U-Haul. A Fairfield County Municipal Court prosecutor advised the matter was civil and would require an eviction process. It was towed a few days later.
11:59 a.m. A Pickerington man reported fraudulent charges to his credit card from the PlayStation Store.
4:13 p.m. A 19-year-old Yulee, Florida man was cited after allegedly running a red light at Hill Road and Postage Drive. He was charged with driving under suspension, expired registration and a traffic control violation.
4:13 p.m. A 74-year-old woman reported that a school bus crossed the center line near Hill Road and Columbus Street, struck her vehicle and did not stop.
4:20 p.m. A 34-year-old man reported his vehicle was struck near Diley and Long roads. The other driver left the scene.
February 6
9:24 a.m. A 38-year-old Pickerington woman was cited after her vehicle slid on snow-covered pavement and struck a school bus at Diley Road and Cherry Hill Drive. The bus was transporting 33 students. No injuries were reported.
February 7
10:40 a.m. A 21-year-old Reynoldsburg woman was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance and driving on a temporary license after rear-ending another vehicle near Hill Road and Birchwood Court.
3:25 p.m. A 51-year-old Sycamore Creek woman requested a no-trespass order against her 37-year-old neighbor after he allegedly took a shortcut through her yard. After she followed him home, he requested a no-trespass order against her.
4:51 p.m. Multiple firearms and two dirt bikes were reported stolen from a Pickerington Hills home.
5:21 p.m. Officers approached a 50-year-old Columbus woman in the Hill Road Kroger parking lot after a FLOCK camera alert indicated her vehicle was associated with a Whitehall warrant. She allegedly identified herself as her twin sister and claimed the warrant had been settled, which Whitehall police later confirmed.
February 8
9:56 a.m. After accidentally triggering an alarm at HomeBuys, an employee was arrested on an outstanding Bexley warrant.
2:03 p.m. Hill Road Kroger loss prevention reported that on Jan. 29, a 39-year-old Columbus woman exited an emergency door with a cart of groceries valued at $1,051.35. Surveillance allegedly showed a 38-year-old Columbus man waiting outside with a car. When confronted, the pair abandoned the cart and fled.
5:46 p.m. A 38-year-old Columbus man was arrested following a traffic stop for speeding on Long Road near Colony Park Drive. Officers determined he was driving under suspension and had an active Franklin County warrant.
