Pickerington Police Dec. 15-22, 2025

December 15

3:36 a.m. After a collision on Washington Street, a 57-year-old Pickerington man was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence, failure to comply, and failure to stop after an accident.
1:36 p.m. While on patrol, an officer located a heavily damaged and vehicle in a parking lot off Hill Road. The car, which appeared to be charred, had been reported stolen out of Licking County.
4:19 p.m. In The Landing neighborhood, a man reported that his neighbor’s dog bit his dog. The neighbor disputed the claim, stating that the man’s dog initiated the altercation. Police advised that because both dogs remained on their respective properties, the matter was a civil case, and no charges would be filed.

December 16

2:40 a.m. A 75-year-old woman reported that three armed men broke into her Preston Trails home, causing damage and stealing jewelry and other items. Investigation pending.
3:00 p.m. Police located a 28-year-old man inside a vacant unit at the Turnberry Apartments. He allegedly possessed multiple packages from various addresses as well as narcotics.
8:30 p.m. A driver provided police with a photograph of the vehicle that rear-ended her at the intersection of Tussing and Hill Roads.

December 19

10:27 p.m. Following a traffic stop, a 38-year-old Columbus woman was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence and driving without a license. After being transported to the jail, she was additionally charged with assault on a police officer.

December 20

7:32 p.m. A 40-year-old woman was cited for theft after she was allegedly seen concealing clothing items at Kohl’s. She was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

December 21

9:19 a.m. After FLOCK cameras detected a vehicle reported stolen from Zanesville, a 41-year-old Cumberland woman was arrested at the intersection of Hill Road and Blacklck-Eastern for receiving stolen property.
