December 1

11:15 a.m. A man reported that someone stole his keys and wallet from a locker at his gym on Hill Road.

December 2

11:09 a.m. Officers received a FLOCK hit on a stolen vehicle.

6:25 p.m. A Pickerington man reported that his identity was used in Georgia to open a Sam’s Club membership and a credit card.


December 4

1:08 p.m. Violet Township firefighters extinguished the contents of a Rumpke garbage truck that caught fire in the Spring Creek neighborhood. Photos from Violet Township Fire Department

4:28 p.m. Loss prevention at Kohl’s reported an active theft. Officers stopped the vehicle the suspects fled in and arrested a 47-year-old Hilliard man on warrants and narcotics possession charges. A 32-year-old Grove City woman was also arrested for failure to comply.

December 6

1:16 a.m. A 30-year-old woman was pulled over at Hill Road and Tussing and cited for OVI.

3:13 a.m. A 20-year-old man was pulled over at Hill Road and Tussing and cited for driving under suspension.

4:18 p.m. On SR 204 near Freedom Way, a 44-year-old Blacklick woman was cited for operating a motor vehicle without a license.

5:46 p.m. A 41-year-old Pickerington man was cited for driving under suspension after a 73-year-old Pickerington woman failed to yield and collided with his vehicle on Hill Road.


December 7

1:14 a.m. A 25-year-old Canal Winchester woman was cited for reasonable control after her vehicle struck a light pole at Birchwood Street and Refugee Road and then allegedly fled the scene.

1:13 p.m. A 52-year-old woman reported that someone rummaged through her vehicle while she was watching a movie at Marcus Cinema. Nothing appeared to be stolen.
