Pickerington Downsizing & Senior Care Expo

The Senior Hub: Meals on Wheels will once again provide free sack lunches to the first 100 attendees at the 2025 Pickerington Downsizing & Senior Care Expo.

June 1, 2025
From the Pickerington Area Chamber of Commerce

Are you caring for a loved one and are confused, overwhelmed, and uncertain about how to navigate the obstacles and get the answers you need, or are you just plain burned out? Are you looking to downsize your living environment but are impeded by the sheer volume of “stuff” standing in the way? And do you need to find advice and free services to live your best life and bring peace of mind to yourself and your family?

The Pickerington Area Chamber’s Downsizing & Senior Care Expo, presented by Mount Carmel Health System and Dwayne R. Spence Funeral Home & Advanced Planning, is Saturday, June 21, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and is free for you to attend. This year, the event is going to be held at Grace Fellowship’s new event space at 1449 Refugee Rd. The Expo features 35+ vendors that serve the senior and caregiver population. The first 100 attendees will receive a free sack lunch, courtesy of The Senior Hub: Meals on Wheels.

The chair volleyball teams from the Pickerington Senior Center and Red Bud Commons are cutthroat competitors. Remember – at least one cheek must remain on the seat at all times.

This interactive and dynamic event will include screenings (including hearing and eyesight), demos (including chair volleyball, pickleball, and cardio drumming), and a Caregiver Corner with free massages.

In the nearby classroom, sponsored by Right at Home, the event will feature eight different educational/informative sessions from helpful experts every 30 minutes, including a panel of experts on senior care and services with an opportunity for Q&A. Info sessions will run from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Click here for the session topics and schedule.

In addition to free admission, visitors will also receive free raffle entry for a $500 Kroger Gift Card from Susie Braskett, Coldwell Banker Realty; a $500 Visa Gift Card from Bath Masters; and a $250 Giant Eagle Gift Card from HearingLife.

Bring old prescription glasses to donate at the Lions Club table and get a raffle ticket for each pair you donate for their gift card raffle.
