July 25, 2025
The Pickerington Education Association (PEA) and Pickerington Support Staff Association (PSSA) held emergency discussions Thursday ahead of the Pickerington Schools Board of Education meeting on July 28. At that meeting, board members will decide whether to place an operating levy on the Nov. 4 ballot.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. Monday at the Pickerington High School North Performing Arts Center (PAC) and will be livestreamed on the Pickerington Local School District YouTube channel.
PEA President Brad Harris and PSSA President Joie Moore will speak during public comment and respond to questions outside immediately after the meeting.
“The dedication of our educators and support staff has made Pickerington Schools a standout district, known for providing students with a high-quality education and exceptional resources,” Harris said. “But we can’t keep waiting on uncertain state funding or years for another levy. Now is the time for our community to act to sustain the excellence our students and families rely on.”
