Pick Ohio Beer Fest 2025: A Celebration of Craft Beer and Community

The Pick Ohio Beer Fest 2025 is set to be an unforgettable event for craft beer enthusiasts and community supporters alike. Hosted at the Combustion Brewery & Taproom in Pickerington, this festival promises a day filled with artisanal beers, unique brewery talents, and a chance to give back to the community.

A Day of Beer and Fun

The festival will feature a curated selection of beers from some of Ohio’s most highly sought-after breweries. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a variety of brews, each reflecting the unique talents and creativity of the participating breweries. With two sessions available – from noon to 3 p.m. and from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. – there’s plenty of time to enjoy the festivities.

“We will have an amazing selection of unique offerings pouring in the Combustion Private Event Space on the 22nd for Pick Ohio Beer Fest! Tickets are on sale now!” said Combustion owner Sarah Jackson.

Supporting a Great Cause

In addition to the beer tasting, the Pick Ohio Beer Fest 2025 is presented in collaboration with Helping Hops, a non-profit organization that facilitates fundraising for local charitable causes by mobilizing the passion and generosity of the craft beer community. A portion of the ticket sales will benefit this worthy cause, making the event not only a celebration of craft beer but also a way to support a meaningful mission.

“This is our sixth year for the Pick Ohio Beer Festival! It’s a great event that gets other Ohio breweries out to the taproom to raise money in conjunction with Helping Hops to benefit the (ROX) Ruling Our eXperiences! The buzz around the event really livens things up this time of year!” said Combustion owner Keith Jackson.

About ROX (Ruling Our eXperiences)

Per its website, “Ruling Our eXperiences (ROX) began in 2006 as a research study at The Ohio State University where Founder and CEO Dr. Lisa Hinkelman spent her career training graduate students in counselor education. As a licensed counselor working with adults and students in school settings, Dr. Hinkelman recognized that the issues facing female students mirrored the experiences of the adult women she was working with in counseling. This connection sparked a research agenda that sought to understand the challenges facing girls and what interventions existed to help them navigate these challenges.”

Highly motivated to improve outcomes for future women, Dr. Hinkelman put research into practice and developed a comprehensive curriculum that could be delivered during the school day and that was available for any girl that expressed interest. The mission of ROX is to create generations of confident girls who are in control of their own relationships, experiences, decisions, and futures.

Ticket Information

Tickets can be purchased at combustionbrewing.com. General Admission Tickets are priced at $60 each and include a commemorative tasting glass, three-ounce pours of all beers at the festival and hors d’oeuvres. Designated Driver Tickets are available for $15 each. VIP Brewery Tour Tickets are also available, offering additional perks such as the brewery tour and extra pours.

VIP Experience

For those looking to elevate their Brewfest experience, VIP Brewery Tour Tickets are available for $75. These tickets include a 20-minute pre-session brewery tour, an eight-ounce brewery tour beer, a commemorative tasting glass and three-ounce pours of all beers at the festival. The VIP tours will be held at 11:00 a.m., 11:20 a.m., and 11:40 a.m. for Session 1, and at 2:30 p.m., 2:50 p.m., and 3:10 p.m. for Session 2.

Food and More

To complement the beer, the festival will feature food from Spanglish Latin Street Food, available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Attendees can enjoy delicious Latin street food while mingling with fellow beer lovers and exploring the various brews on offer.
