United States of America Pageants is proud to announce Tamera Carter of Columbus has been crowned as United States of America’s Miss Ohio 2025 and will represent the great state of Ohio at the 2025 national competition, May 23-25 in Las Vegas.
Tamera is a graduate of Pickerington High School Central. She went on to attend Ohio University and earned her Bachelors in Communication Studies. She is currently pursuing her Masters and Law Degree. Upon graduation she spent her time working in the sports industry for companies like Fox Sports and NBA. Through her experiences she launched TheRookieSeason in 2020 to help other women break into the sports industry.
She is an advocate and supporter of EndALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) to help inspire others to live purposefully despite the terminal diagnosis. She is a member and legislative advocate with the ALS Association, I AM ALS and Live like Lou where she helps spread awareness for research and connect families with resources for those affected by the disease. The entire family is excited to support Tamera on her quest for the crown as she competes against other extraordinary women from across the country in hopes of bringing home the national title of United States of America’ Miss 2025!
